Body: | Section 17-10-21 Preparation of absentee ballot of comatose person prohibited; penalty. THIS SECTION WAS AMENDED AND RENUMBERED AS SECTION 17-17-26 BY ACT 2006-570 IN THE 2006 REGULAR SESSION, EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2007. No person shall knowingly and willfully prepare or assist in preparing the absentee ballot of a person who is comatose or who otherwise cannot communicate his or her voting preferences for an absentee ballot, and, upon conviction of a violation of this section, such person shall be guilty of a Class C felony.
