Body: | Section 16-47-130 Establishment. There is hereby created and established a collegiate school of nursing in the University of Alabama to be under the sole management, ownership and control of the Board of Trustees of the University of Alabama for the purpose of providing a program of education and clinical training for the preparation of professional nurses. The school shall be autonomous under the direction of a dean, who shall be a nurse, and shall be known as the University of Alabama School of Nursing or by such other name as the said board of trustees shall hereafter designate.
