| Body: | Section 16-3-24 Oaths of agents; examination of witnesses. The State Board of Education by its presiding officer, or its committees by their chairmen, the State Superintendent of Education and any of its duly appointed agents shall have authority to administer oaths and to examine under oath, in any part of the state, witnesses in any matter pertaining to schools and to cause the examination to be reduced to writing.
