| Body: | Section 16-10-2 Meetings; chairman. The board of school trustees shall hold an annual meeting each year on the first Saturday in May, or as soon thereafter as practicable. At this meeting the board shall appoint one of its members as chairman and shall give notice of such appointment to the county board of education. Other regular meetings shall be held at least twice during the scholastic year, and such special meetings shall be held as the duties and business of the board shall require.
