| Body: | Section 11-50-506 Effect of chapter on existing laws, etc. The authority granted municipalities under the provisions of this chapter shall not be construed so as to repeal, restrict, modify, or otherwise limit any authority now conferred on any municipality by any existing general, local, or special law or to affect any such board created or existing by virtue of a local act.
