| Body: | Section 11-43C-19 President of council. The president of the council shall be elected by the members of the council and shall serve the regular two-year term and may be re-elected for another two-year term. He shall preside at all meetings of the council and shall be a voting member. If a vacancy shall occur in the office of the president of the council, the council shall elect a successor to the president. (Acts 1987, No. 87-102, p. 116, ยง19.) |
