Body: | Section 11-43C-32 Mayor - Filing as candidate; qualifying fee. Any person desiring to become a candidate in any election for the office of mayor may become such candidate by filing in the office of the city clerk a statement in writing of such candidacy as required by the general municipal election laws. Said statement shall be accompanied by a qualifying fee in the amount of $350.00, which qualifying fee shall be paid into the general fund of the city. (Acts 1987, No. 87-102, p. 116, ยง32.) |
