| Body: | Section 11-105-1 Formation of public authority. Any one or more municipalities or counties, or any combination thereof, by resolution of the governing body of each participating municipality or county, may elect to form a public authority for the purpose of promoting and developing tourism in the geographic area to be served by the authority. The authority shall be vested with the powers provided by this chapter. (Act 2011-692, p. 2116, ยง1.) |
