Body: | Rep(s). By Representative Standridge HB498 ENROLLED, An Act, To alter, rearrange, and extend the boundary lines and corporate limits of the municipality of Hayden in Blount County. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section 1. The boundary lines and corporate limits of the municipality of Hayden in Blount County are altered, rearranged, and extended to include within the corporate limits of the municipality, in addition to the lands now included, all of the following territory: In Blount County: A part of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 6, Township 13, Range 1 West, more particularly described as follows: Beginning where the SW right-of-way line of the New Bangor Highway (County Road 9) intersects the West boundary line of said NW 1/4 of SW 1/4 slightly south of the NW corner of said 1/4 - 1/4 Section; thence in a Southeasterly direction along the SW right-of-way line of the said New Bangor Highway (County Road 9) a distance of 130 yards (360 feet), more or less, to where said right-of-way line intersects the NW right-of-way line of the Cleveland-Hayden Highway (State Highway 160); thence in a Southwesterly direction along the NW right-of-way line of the Cleveland-Hayden Highway (state Highway 160) a distance of 128 yards (384 feet), more or less to where said NW right-of-way line intersects the West boundary line of said 1/4 - 1/4 section; thence North along the West boundary of said 1/4 - 1/4 Section 158 yards (474 feet), more or less, to point of beginning. Section 2. In accordance with Section 11-42-6(b) of the Code of Alabama 1975, a map showing what territory is proposed to be annexed to the municipality of Hayden is on file in the office of the Judge of Probate in Blount County, Alabama, and the map is open to the inspection of the public. Section 3. This act shall become effective on the first day of the third month following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law. Hayden Blount County Boundaries |
