By Representative Crawford HB366 ENROLLED, An Act, Relating to the City of Athens in Limestone County; to authorize the City Council of the City of Athens to regulate and permit the sale of alcoholic beverages during certain hours on Sunday by properly licensed retail licensees serving the general public in the city. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section 1. The City Council of the City of Athens in Limestone County, by ordinance, may regulate and permit the sale of alcoholic beverages during certain hours on Sunday, as determined by the city council, by properly licensed retail licensees of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board and the City of Athens serving the general public in the city. Section 2. This act shall become effective immediately following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
