| Body: | SB8 By Senator Dial ENROLLED, An Act, Relating to Randolph County; to provide the proceeds from any ad valorem tax distributed to the Randolph Health Care Authority shall be utilized to fund the pensions of the individuals who are retired from the health care authority on the date of the enactment of this act and the remaining proceeds from the ad valorem tax may be used at the discretion of the authority. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the proceeds from any ad valorem tax distributed to the Randolph Health Care Authority shall be utilized to fund the pensions of the individuals who are retired from the health care authority on the date of the enactment of this act. The remaining proceeds from the ad valorem tax may be used at the discretion of the authority. Section 2. This act shall become effective immediately following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
