A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT

Relating to the City of Muscle Shoals in Colbert County; to amend Section 45-17A-50.04, Code of Alabama 1975, to increase the compensation of the members of the board of the Civil Service System.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:Section 1. Section 45-17A-50.04, Code of Alabama 1975, is amended to read as follows:

§45-17A-50.04.

"The compensation of each board member shall be two thousand four hundred dollars ($2,400) three thousand six hundred dollars ($3,600) per annum, payable in 12 equal monthly installments."

Section 2. This act shall become effective January 1, 2017.
