| Body: | SB304 By Senator Livingston ENROLLED, An Act, Relating to Jackson County; to provide an additional fee for the service of failure to appear warrants by the Sheriff of Jackson County. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section 1. (a) In Jackson County, in addition to any and all court costs, fees, and charges now or hereafter authorized, there shall be assessed by the Circuit Court Clerk a one hundred dollars ($100) charge on the service of all failure to appear warrants issued and executed by the Jackson County Sheriff. (b) The additional charge provided herein, when collected, shall be paid to the Jackson County Sheriff and shall be used for law enforcement purposes. Section 2. This act shall become effective on the first day of the third month following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
