| Body: | SB182 By Senator Pittman ENROLLED, An Act, To make a supplemental appropriation from the Education Trust Fund to the Legislature in the amount of $1,410,551 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2015; to make a supplemental appropriation from the Education Trust Fund to the Department of Human Resources in the amount of $3,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2015; and to make a supplemental appropriation from the Education Trust Fund to the Department of Veterans' Affairs in the amount of $2,663,775 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2015. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section 1. In addition to all other appropriations heretofore or hereafter made, there is hereby appropriated $1,410,551 from the Education Trust Fund to the Legislature for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2015. Section 2. In addition to all other appropriations heretofore or hereafter made, there is hereby appropriated $2,663,775 from the Education Trust Fund to the Department of Veterans' Affairs for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2015. This appropriation shall be expended for the Student Financial Aid Program. Section 3. In addition to all other appropriations heretofore or hereafter made, there is hereby appropriated $3,000,000 from the Education Trust Fund to the Department of Human Resources for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2015. This appropriation shall be expended for the program created by the Fostering Hope Scholarship Act of 2015. Section 4. In addition to all other appropriations heretofore or hereafter made, there is hereby appropriated $200,000 from the Education Trust Fund to the Alabama Commission on Higher Education for the Articulation and General Studies Committee (AGSC)/Statewide Transfer and Articulation Reporting System (STARS) for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2015. Section 5. The appropriation from the Education Trust Fund made in Act 2014-456 to the Department of Finance for payments for unused sick leave pursuant to Section 16-1-18.2, Code of Alabama 1975, is hereby reduced by $200,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2015. Section 6. This act shall become effective immediately upon its passage and approval by the Governor, or upon its otherwise becoming law.
