A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT

To alter, rearrange, and extend the boundary lines and corporate limits of the City of Springville in St. Clair County.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:

Section 1. The boundary lines and corporate limits of the City of Springville in St. Clair County are altered, rearranged, and extended to include within the corporate limits of the city, in addition to the lands now included, all of the following territory:

PARCEL 1.

Begin at a point where the West Line, Sec. 26, Twp. 14 South, Range 2 East intersects the northwesterly right-of-way boundary of U.S. 11 highway; thence run N1° 50' W along section line 616.82 feet; thence N77°57' E 163.59 feet; thence S46°30' E417.40 feet to said northwesterly right-of-way; thence follow right-of-way boundary along the arc of a curve, concave northwesterly, a chord direction and distance of S50°39'W 572.96 feet to point of beginning; being a part of the NW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Sec. 26, Twp. 14 South Range 2 East, St. Clair County, Alabama.

PARCEL 2.

TRACT #2, according to the survey of Heritage Valley Estates, as recorded in Map Book 5, Page 75, in the Probate Office of St. Clair County, Alabama, Ashville Division.

Section 2. In accordance with Section 11-42-6(b) of the Code of Alabama 1975, a map showing what territory is proposed to be annexed to the City of Springville is on file in the office of the Judge of Probate in St. Clair County, Alabama, and the map is open to the inspection of the public.

Section 3. This act shall become effective on the first day of the third month following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
